The most important meal of the day is Breakfast. To start a great day you must have a healthy breakfast. If you had an unhealthy breakfast, full of fat, sugar and empty calories will make you to feel like need a morning nap. Here some healthier options were pinned and 5 foods to avoid at breakfast.

1. Scrambled Egg



Aren't eggs a healthy breakfast option? Yes, Eggs are healthy but when you order scrambled eggs in restaurant they have added cream and butter to make those eggs tasty. And also the serving size of scrambled eggs in restaurant is usually way out of whack. If you suggest poached eggs you know what exactly you might be having.

2. Muffins and other baked goods



These are fully richer with butter and sugar. This will be for temporary satisfaction, but you will soon be hungry again and stars to carve more sugar. For longer satisfaction you should prefer some whole grain toast. Instead of butter, prefer some ripe avocado or light cream cheese stuffs.

3. Hollandaise Sauce



The Hollandaise sauce is made from egg yolks and butter. The yolk of an egg is full filled with fat and cholesterol and we all know that butter should be avoided from teenage to old age. For a healthier option you can try some stewed tomatoes or a slice of melted cheese.

4. Bacon and sausage



The worst offenders at the breakfast menu are Bacon and Sausage. They are incredibly high in fat and cholesterol, which should be avoided. Instead of these two recipes, you can try some lean ham or prosciutto.

5. Donuts



Donuts are fried balls of dough rolled in sugar. You should not prefer donuts at any time, certainly not for breakfast. It should be taken in the snacks menu.
